5 things people should but don't ask their driving instructor before starting lessons...

   What is their cancellation policy, for you and them?

2. Will they add on time if they are late?

3. Do they have a different price for the use of their car for the test?

4. Are they fully qualified or a trainee?

5. Will they charge if their car is damaged. For example, alloy wheel scrapes.

As a driving instructor in Edinburgh for over 10 years, I've not heard directly of many negative stories attached to the above and most instructors are passionate about what they do and providing a great service. Having said that, you don't need to spend much time online to see that there some driving instructors out there using some unscrupulous ways to make extra money.
